Hi,

I am planning to do trekking in the Garhwal Himalaya starting Mis May and got some questions maybe someone out there can answer

- We are thinking about the trek from Gangtori to Gaumukh and possibly a little further. As May also sems to be the peak pilgrim season I wonder if the trek is a good idea or if it will just be a really overcrowded affair. What so you think?

- We are also thinking abot trekking teh Kuari Pass and/or to Rup Kund Lake. So you know if this is possible suruing that time of year? The Lonely Planet claims that the upper parts of the Rup Kund Trek are under deep snow until early June

- Do you know how the snow situation in the Garhwal Himalaya has been this year in general?

- Are there other treks in the Garhwal Himalaya you would especially recommend?
