Problem with private msg

Hi,

Everytime I'm trying to send private message to someone, I get this response:

"MartinS, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. "What's wrong ?

Hi MartinS,

obviously you have postet only three times. After five postings (I think) you are allowed to send PMs.

This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page.

So just be busy posting and you may have all private contacts here you want to.

Hi Martin,

Don't be unpatient!
phacops was right!

You are allowed to use PM function after having posted at least 5 posts.
Having done so the system is upgrading you to the next internal level which allowes
you to use PMs. But this upgrading is done via a cronjob which runs every 25 minutes.

So after having written 5 posts you'll have to be patient for a while, depending if your
last post has been close to the next run of the cronjon or not. Maybe it's just one
minute but could be 25 minutes in the worst scenario.

This limitation has been set up because some people just have registered to spam
via PM.

The second thing concerns posting links and / or pictures and / or emai-adresses for
the same reason. It's allowed only after having written ten posts.

As far as I know fünf means five not ten ;)

Ahh, thanks for the hint!
The reason was that I have forgotten to set a translation for this message.
The phrasetext shows 'fünf' while the errortext in german shows 'zehn'.
As there has no errortext been specified for english, it takes the phrasetext.

I've changed it now.
