Hi Leute,
ich war nun schon des öfteren in Pakistan und bin auch immer wieder begeistert. Nun habe ich vor, mit meinem Nadeem im nächsten oder übernächsten Winter nach Pakistan zu fahren, um mir mal die Landschaft im Schnee anzuschauen. Könnt ihr mir mal sagen, welche Straßen auch noch im Winter befahrbar sind? Liegt im Kaschmirtal bei Muzaffarabad immer Schnee? Ich möchte nämlich nicht so ganz weit von Islamabad aus reisen, da ich nur eine begrenzte Zeit von 2 bis 3 Wochen habe. Kann ich mit local busses auch noch dort hin? Gibt es Hotel mit Heizung und warmer Dusche?
Perhaps Imran, you can help me in this regard. Last year me and my pakistani boyfriend Nadeem (from Lahore) phoned you from Skardu, in order to ask you about the Wakhan corridor and you gave us very helpful information. Perhaps you can also help us in this matter as my boyfriend also don't know exactly where the best place is to go in winter, especially as we both don't have so much time. And - I would like to have snow - a lot of snow, if somehow possible. And we would like to use our big snow shoes (NOT snow boots) for untouched snow. Is this possible resp.. is it possible to come to such an area with a lot of snow? And could you recommend us a hotel with warm shower and a heater?
