7 tourist buses vandalised in Pokhara

POKHARA, June 24 - Agitating transport operators vandalised around seven tourist buses in Pokhara on Tuesday.
A tourist bus heading from Pokhara was vandalised by a group of public transport operators at Bijaypur, local police said.
One of the tourists hailing from Korea was injured in the incident.
According to the Kaski District Traffic Office, the agitators thrashed the front mirror and pelted stones at the bus.
No vehicles were seen plying on the roads due to the transport strike in Pokhara.
A meeting of Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs' National Federation (NTENF) held in the capital had decided to stage an indefinite transport strike across the country to press the government to fulfill their demand to raise fares by 25 to 35 percent. Life, crippled due to strikes by transport entrepreneurs for the last five days, is bound to worsen in the days ahead.
