Bonjour mes amis.
This is to update the fellow members on the forum, polo lovers, travelers to Chitral and north Pakistan, that the famous annual polo festival, Shandoor, will be held on the altitude of 3800 m, at Shandoor pass and lake, 7th to 9th of July this year.
There’re daily 2 flights to Chitral from Peshawar airport, reservation of seats, a couple of days prior to your departure, is highly recommended.
Chitral is connected to Peshawar, by road,11, 12 hrs, through Lowari pass and it’s pretty scenic & adventurous, after Dir.
From Gilgit, NATCO’s running a bus service till Mastuj, 13, 14 hrs from Gilgit Mastuj.
So let’s share a cup of tea, while whispering to the mountain gods, the players of the majestic sport and nature, on Shandoor.
