Die Meldung stammt zwar schon vom vergangenen November, scheint aber noch relevant:
Fake Rs.1,000 currency notes in circulation
Nepal Rashtra Bank Friday warned counterfeit Rs.1,000 notes are in circulation. The warning was issued through a public notice in the "Gorkhapatra".
The fake notes bear the signatures of past governors Ganesh Bahadur Thapa, Harishanker Tripathi and Satendrapyara Shrestha, the Bank said. nepalnews.com br Nov.7
Nach heutigem Kurs:
1000 Nepalesische Rupie = 11.32607 Euro
Vielleicht sollte man beim Wechseln einfach darauf bestehen, keine 1000 R-Scheine anzunehmen.
