Hallo Experten,
Day 01 : Arrive and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu, sightseeing
Day 03 : Fly to Lukla, lunch, and trek to Phakding.
Day 04 : Trek to Monjo, have lunch. Walk to the entrance of Island Peak the Sagarmatha National Park and show your trekking permit. After crossing twice the river, steep up to Namche Bazaar.
Day 05 : After breakfast, up to Thame. The trail up to the Syangboche Airstrip is steep but you will already notice the beautiful shorten on top. Crossing the ridge you will see Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Nuptse.
Day 06 : Tengboche. Steep down to the river, crossing the bridge and steep up again to Tengboche. Visit the Monastery and the surrounding compound. Overnight camping.
Day 07 : Trek to Dingboche. After crossing the Sherpa village of Pangboche, have lunch at Shamare. After lunch a smooth walk to the river coming from Pheriche, cross and a little bit up to Dingboche. Overnight camping.
Day 08 : Trek to Chukung, for me one of the most beautiful places. You will have the impression that Lhotse face is falling on you. Enjoy the sight of Baruntse and a completely different Ama Dablam. Overnight camping.
Day 09 : Island Peak Base Camp. Overnight camping.
Day 10 : Start slowly climbing to the camp 1 on Island Peak. You have all day to reach that intermediate camp. Do not expect the luxury of the base camp, but rather expect a sleepless night dreaming of your first 6,000 m peak.
Day 11 : Early morning, start going to the top. After camp 1, go up in the gully, traverse to the right, up on a wide stone field, cross the ridge to the glacier. Always beware of the crevasses. You are nearly halfway. Have a good trip to the top and safely down. The same day back to Chukung.
Day 12 : A long day trek to Tengboche. Overnight camping.
Day 13 : Over the ridge down to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in our lodge.
Day 14 : Trek to Lukla and make ready to fly out next day to Kathmandu.
Day 15 : Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Day 16 : Kathmandu, free day.
Day 17 : Depart to home
Das sind, von Freitag bis Sonntag gerechnet zwar 17 Tage, aber eigentlich nur 2 Wochen?
Hat man da genügend Höhenanpassung?
